Room for rent

How long are you supposed to grieve when your baby leaves the nest?  Goes off to college… starts the next chapter of his/her life?    Is it a day, a week, a lifetime??  I’m guessing it must be a combination of them all.  My friends (and neighbor) dropped their first baby off in his college dorm last week.  I remember when I moved into my house nearly 9 years ago this delightful little boy rang the doorbell to find out if any new kids were moving in next door.  When he found out there were none…(yet)… he put in his request for boys!  Someone heard him- and now I have 2 little gremlin boys to fill my life with the same joy and mischief he gave to his parents for the last 18 years.  I can only hope my boys grow into the same respectful, responsible and kind young man he has turned out to be.  His beautiful sister is following right in his footsteps.  She is friendly, polite, and full of life- not to mention an awesome babysitter!  My boys adore her!

This family has so much to be proud of…

Good luck Cory!

Gina,

We met at the Trailside in July when Cory Hazy played. Ray and I sat at the tabel with you and your husband and Sharon.

Your pictures of Cory made me cry, as well as your message.
I am just remembering when my baby went off to college a few years ago!

Your work is beautiful!
