What?!? Snow?? In April??
Only in Pittsburgh do you get 4 seasons in 48 hours. Mother Nature is clearly off her meds.
Ick. Where is the SUN????
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breathe away."
I love quotes. I find them inspirational. I have them all over my house. Taped on my bathroom mirror. Stuck in my wallet. Posted on the refrigerator. Stuffed in books and pockets.... But that's my favorite quote. It says a lot about me. I'm emotional. I get carried away. I'm a mother of two, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a neighbor and a photographer. Pictures suck me in. I get lost in the memories. Lost in those little moments that make up our lives. I'm a lover of sunshine, loud music, all dogs, most books and photography. I hate to try new food, but love to try new places. I want to show my two boys the whole wide world.
I've always loved photography. I come by it honestly. My dad was a photographer in his day. I love how proud he is to see me following the same path.... following my passion. It's been said if you "find something to do that you love you will never work a day in your life". I found it. This is it. The thing that gets me jazzed. I love that feeling when I get "it"- that one shot that captures the essence of the moment. The emotion. The right here right now. I love telling a story with my photography. With my camera I'm creating "remember when" moments for people to treasure for the rest of their lives. I've learned that priorities shift. Mine did. Life happens and I realize I don't want to miss a thing... and neither do you. It goes by so fast. The first step. The first word. Baby boys become little men. Play dates become prom dates. T-ball becomes varsity. We all grow and change. And I want to capture it all. Freeze time.... just for a minute. Every day creates new memories. I want to help catch those in pictures- those amazing little frozen moments. To me, there is no greater priority.
This blog will follow my professional and personal life. I will share my work, my family and all the stuff in between. My two little gremlins fill my life with love, laughter and a whole lot of chaos... but I wouldn't want it any other way. Join us in making this lifetime full of memories.
